Ouachita County Medical Center has immediate openings for full time Supervisor/cashier

Essential Duties and Major responsibilities: Must have the ability to manage a dietary staff and assist in the production of foods. Prepares, stocks, serves, cleans food and supplies for service area as necessary. Operates cash register and makes appropriate change. Operates computer charge terminal and files charges.

Requirements: Ability to read, write, communicate and interpret work orders, cash reports and recipes. Use simple math to make correct change and operate a cash register. General knowledge of food preparation, good leadership skills, and cleanliness. Previous management experience is preferred and previous customer service experience is required.

Physicial Demands: Ability to walk, bend, stand for long periods. Ability to lift 50 lbs. 

The applicant must have strong interpersonal skills, be able to perform well individually and within group settings, have the ability to handle situations professionally and accurately, and must be able to provide service with courtesy, friendliness and respect.

Individuals who prefer to apply for employment in person may do so Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm in the Human Resources office. This office is located downstairs, at the back of the hospital. All applications remain active for 6 months, so please be sure to include your telephone number on the application.
