Radiology Staff Technologist

Ouachita County Medical Center has an opening for a Full-Time Radiology Staff Technologist 3-11p. 

Essential Duties and Major responsibilities: Performs all radiology procedures adequately and under the watchful eyes of a radiologist. Obtains all needed history for radiologist and maintains all information as needed for correct procedures. Must show independent judgement when performing procedures and addressing difficult or unusual situations. Utilizes PACS and HMS, accepts additional assignments and task for the department as needed. They also must be able to lift and move patients, to maintain exceptable attendance, to be able to work as scheduled, to work cooperatively with others, to have experience working with computers, and to be BLS certified.

This position requires: Must have valid Arkansas state license, ARRT. One year training and CT training preferred.

The applicant must have strong interpersonal skills, be able to perform well individually and within group settings, have the ability to handle situations professionally and accurately, and must be able to provide care with courtesy, friendliness and respect.

Individuals who prefer to apply for employment in person may do so Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm in the Human Resources office. This office is located downstairs, at the back of the hospital.
