On Thursday, October 6, 2011, Ouachita County Medical Center was awarded an AHA 2011 Diamond Award at the Arkansas Hospital Association's 81st Anniversary Awards Dinner for the hospital's website. The Diamond Awards recognize excellence in hospital relations and marketing.
 
OCMC also received a Certificate of Merit in the division of Hospitals with Fewer Than 100 Beds for Adverstising for a newspaper ad titled 'Our Volunteers Lift Spirits.'
