Approximately 3,000 surgical procedures are performed each year in OCMC’s six well-equipped operating suites. Our surgery department features the latest technology, the harmonic scalpel and ThermaChoice (uterine balloon therapy). Our facility also features an Endoscopy Lab with the latest equipment, a three bed recovery room, a three bed holding area and an excellent surgical nursing team. Surgeries performed here include: Cataract Surgery, Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery, General Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery, OB/GYN Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery and Urogenital Surgery.
