If you have tolerated liquids well, it will be safe to progressively add solid foods. By the following day you may resume a normal diet. It is normal to feel a little dizzy and sleepy for several hours after surgery. Do not drive, operate machinery, sign any important papers or make any significant decisions until the next day.
