Telemonitoring

Doctors Home Care
Telemedicine Program

Doctors Home Care monitors vital signs from the comfort of the patient's home using a state-of-the-art, FDA approved telemedicine device called HomMed.

Patient's heart rate, blood pressure and other information is collected at home and transmitted to DHC's office via a telephone line.  Readings can be taken at any time, day or night, and as often as directed by the patient's physician.

Telemonitoring provides patients with information, giving them peace of mind.   If there is a problem, or any abnormality, the home health nurses call the patient to get additional information, and if needed schedule a home visit.  It's less expensive and patients get better faster.

Patients vary in age from newborn to the elderly; and illnesses ranging from injuries to chronic disease.
