The Pharmacy of OCMC strives to provide high quality, cost effective, innovative pharmaceutical care to the people we serve in a safe environment of caring, compassion, teamwork and personal commitment. Our policies, guidelines, programs, and services ensure that patients receive appropriate pharmaceutical care as measured against accepted standards. In addition to providing the traditional knowledge and skills about the composition and dispensing of drug entities and products, pharmaceutical care involves judgments and decisions to avoid, initiate, maintain or discontinue drug therapy. This care is provided in collaboration with patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers. We continue to improve and change with the needs and expectations of those we serve. We hope that our pharmacists commit themselves to improving OCMC not only for the well-being of individual patients, but for the benefit of society as a whole.
