The Department of Pharmacy Service is committed to providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care through the safe, rational, ethical and cost effective use of medications within the organization. At OCMC, pharmaceutical care is the responsible provision of drug therapy for the purpose of achieving definite outcomes that
improve the patient's quality of life. It is best provided through a system of drug use management that effectively integrates the knowledge and skills of pharmacists, technicians, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers. We are dedicated to exceeding the needs and expectations of patients and others we serve through an environment which recognizes individual worth and encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Physical Therapy
Licensed Physical and Occupational Therapists and technicians provide Neurological and Orthopedic therapy for both in and out-patients. Services include traction, ultrasound, whirlpool and gait training. Our ehabilitation facility offers
state-of-the-art equipment including: Body Masters, Hydra Fitness Equipment, Kin Com, Isotechnologies and Pacer treadmills.
Radiology
Providing full-time radiology services for treatment and diagnostic assistance, OCMC's radiology department features modern equipment such as a high resolution CT Scanner, a DEXA- Bone Density Unit, a MRI, Echocardio, a state-of-the-art dedicated Mammogram Unit,
Nuclear Medicine, a Panoramic Imaging Unit, Routine Radiograph and Ultra-sound including Doppler, Fluoroscopy Suites, OB, Routine Radiology and Vascular Imaging.
Surgery
Approximately 3,000 surgical procedures are performed each year in OCMC's six well-equipped operating suites. Our surgery department features the latest technology, the harmonic scalpel and ThermaChoice (uterine balloon therapy). Our facility also features an Endoscopy Lab with the latest
equipment, a four bed recovery room and an excellent surgical nursing teams. Surgeries performed here include: Cataract Surgery, Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery, General Surgery, Laproscopic Surgery, OB/Gyn Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery and Urogenital Surgery.
